Schedule the sale.
Skip the 11pm price revert.
SalePilot schedules a Shopify sale — start time, end time, timezone, discounts — then goes live and reverts every price back to normal on its own, even with several sales running at once. No calendar reminder, no logging in at midnight.
Free plan and a 7-day Pro trial.
- Scheduled
- Live
- Reverted
Schedules your sale. Restores your prices. Then checks its own work.
No app that touches a live storefront can honestly promise it never fails — so SalePilot checks its own work instead. After every revert, it re-reads the live price on every variant it touched and confirms the price is actually back to normal. If it isn't, SalePilot flags it in the revert report — not a customer finding out at checkout.
The price is back to normal
After reverting a sale, SalePilot re-checks the live price on Shopify. When it matches, the revert report marks it Reverted — confirmed, not assumed.
Something needs your review
If a price didn't revert the way it should have — or SalePilot couldn't confirm it did — the item is marked Flagged in the revert report, with the reason, so you know exactly what to check.
You changed it — we left it alone
SalePilot never overwrites a price you change by hand mid-sale. If it no longer matches what SalePilot applied, the revert report marks it Skipped (diverged) and leaves it exactly as you set it.
One schedule. Every sale you run.
The pieces that turn scheduling a sale from a guessing game into a plan.
Your sales, laid out by date
Every scheduled, live and reverted sale shows up in one place — instead of a spreadsheet, or a list of dates you have to remember and cross-check by hand.
Run several sales at once, side by side
A Fall Sale, a Labor Day Sale, and a Best Sellers promo can run at once, each on its own start and end date.
Know which rule wins before you apply
When two sales target the same product, SalePilot shows exactly what changes and which rule wins — before it goes live, not after a customer sees the wrong price.
See the price change before it happens
Preview shows the new price for every affected variant before you apply anything.
Panic revert, any time
Something's wrong mid-sale? End it immediately and prices go back right away, without waiting for the scheduled end time.
Target products, variants, or collections — plus buy-more-save-more
Apply a percentage discount to specific products, specific variants, or a whole collection. Layer on buy-more-save-more pricing to reward larger orders.
Each sale runs on its own timezone
Launching a flash sale at 9am in New York while your store defaults to UTC? Set the timezone per sale so it starts and ends exactly when you meant it to.

Browse the guidesOne sale, three stages, zero manual revert
Every sale event moves through the same three stages. SalePilot handles the middle one automatically, and confirms the last one with a report.
- Scheduled
- Live
- Reverted
Scheduled
Set a name, start/end date and time, and a timezone. Add discount rules — percentage or quantity-break. Nothing goes live until the schedule says so.
Live
Prices apply — by you clicking "Apply from discount rules," or on their own at the scheduled start. The announcement bar switches on with it.
Reverted
Prices restore automatically at the end time — or immediately, via Panic revert. The revert report confirms every SKU by name, and never overwrites a price you edited by hand.
The hour you already spend, every sale
Run this against your own last sale: it's the same four steps most merchants already do by hand — two at the start, two at the end.
Export a backup
Pull current prices to a CSV before touching anything, in case you need to undo it. About 5-10 minutes.
Bulk-edit at sale start
Update every product or variant to its sale price, by hand or via bulk import. About 10-15 minutes.
Remember to revert
Note the end date somewhere, then come back and bulk-edit every price back to normal. About 10-15 minutes, if you remember on time.
Spot-check a few variants
There's no confirmation step, so you sample a handful of products and hope the rest matched. About 5-10 minutes.
Add it up and it's 30 to 50 minutes per sale, back — every single time you run one.
Missed apply
The promo email or post goes out on schedule. The prices don't, because bulk-editing fifty variants takes longer than sending an email. Traffic lands on regular price — ad spend and trust wasted before the sale even opens.
Missed revert
The sale banner comes down. The discounted price doesn't, because reverting means digging up the CSV backup and doing the bulk edit in reverse — easy to put off by a day, or three. Every order in between ships at a price you meant to have already stopped offering.
Try it with your own numbers — here's the math, not a measured stat: units sold per day × days the revert runs late × discount % × your average item price = revenue quietly given away.
Example: a sale at 20% off, moving about 30 units a day, reverted 3 days late — 30 × 3 × 20% × $20 average price ≈ $360 gone unnoticed. That's roughly three years of SalePilot Pro at $9.99/month, lost in one missed revert.
SalePilot Pro includes 7 days free, then $9.99/month.
One sale free every month. Unlimited on Pro.
The limit is how many sale events you apply per calendar month — not how many products or variants they cover, and not which features you get.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about how SalePilot schedules, reverts and reports on a Shopify sale.
FAQ and guides updated: September 2026.
How do I schedule a Shopify sale that reverts itself?
Create a sale event with a start date, end date and timezone — this is how merchants schedule Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Halloween sales in advance — then add percentage or quantity-break discount rules to the products, variants or collections you want on sale. SalePilot applies those prices at the start time (or you can apply now), and reverts the prices it changed back to normal on the server at the scheduled end time; a price you edited yourself mid-sale is left alone and flagged in the revert report — no calendar reminder or manual step required.
How do I schedule a discount that ends automatically?
Set an end date, time and timezone on the sale event when you create it — that's what triggers the automatic revert. When it arrives, SalePilot reverts the prices it changed back to normal server-side and writes a revert report confirming what changed, whether or not you're logged into Shopify at the time.
I forgot to end a sale — how do I stop it running too long?
You don't need to remember: every sale event already has a scheduled end time that triggers an automatic server-side revert, so a forgotten sale still ends on its own. If you need it to stop sooner, the "Panic revert now" button on the sale event reverts every price immediately, without waiting for the scheduled end time.
Does it work without Shopify Plus?
Yes. SalePilot needs no Shopify Plus — Free and Pro both run on any standard Shopify plan, using percentage and quantity-break discounts on top of Shopify's own Automatic Discount and billing systems rather than Plus-only tooling.
What if I edit a price mid-sale?
SalePilot never overwrites a price you change by hand mid-sale — it leaves your edit alone. When the sale reverts, it detects that the live price no longer matches what it originally applied and flags that item as "Needs review" in the revert report instead of silently reverting it, so you decide the correct final price.
What does the revert report show?
The revert report lists every price SalePilot touched during the last apply or revert, by product and variant name, so you can confirm each one went back to normal. Anything it couldn't confirm is marked "Flagged" or "Needs review" with the reason, rather than being silently marked as reverted.
Can I run multiple sales at the same time?
Yes — and you don't have to manage it by hand. Juggling an Autumn Sale, a Labor Day Sale, a Sold Out Sale, and a Best Sellers promotion across different collections or products at the same time is normally a scheduling headache. SalePilot tracks each sale event's own prices and revert time separately, so nothing overlaps by accident and no manual coordination is needed. If two active sales do target the very same variant, the overlapping-rules report shows exactly which discount wins, so you always know what price the shopper sees.
