Sale still running when it should have ended? Open the sale event in your Shopify admin and use Panic revert now. It is safe to click at any time, and prices you edited yourself during the sale are preserved rather than overwritten.
What SalePilot does
You schedule a sale with a start and an end. At the start, SalePilot applies your discount rules; at the end it puts every price back exactly as it was. It runs on our servers, so it works whether or not your computer is on.
Common questions
Will it overwrite a price I changed during a sale?
No. Before changing anything, SalePilot records each variant's original and expected sale price. At revert time, if a price no longer matches what it set, it treats that as your deliberate edit and leaves it alone. Those appear in the revert report as skipped (diverged) — that is a success, not a failure.
What are "flagged" entries in the revert report?
Only flagged entries need you. They mean a variant's final state could not be confirmed, so check that SKU in your Shopify admin directly. Clean and pending entries need nothing.
Times are wrong by a few hours
All times are interpreted in your store's time zone, as set in your Shopify settings — not your browser's and not the server's. The event page shows the zone next to each time. If your store's zone is wrong, correct it in Shopify and the schedule follows.
The announcement bar is not showing
The bar is a theme app embed. Open Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds and turn on SalePilot bar. It appears only while a sale is applied, and switches off automatically on revert.
Quantity break rules do not change listed prices
Correct — those are created as native Shopify Automatic Discounts and apply at checkout, which is a different mechanism from the price-rewrite engine used by percentage-off-collection rules.
Reporting a problem
Email [email protected] with your store domain, the sale event name, and roughly when the problem happened. That is enough to find the relevant records.
